Tank – Leonardo da Vinci project

A prolific inventor and artist, Leonardo was also a military engineer, and in the late 1400s, he designed the first true armoured vehicle equipped with cannons. Powered by humans, with a full circle of cannons this would have been an incredible sight on the battlefield!
