Notification under the Privacy Code

The D.lgs. # 196 of June 30, 2003 (hereinafter the “code”) provides for the protection of persons and other subjects regarding the processing of personal data. The Code establishes that the person, or the person from whom the personal data are collected must be informed in advance regarding the treatment of such information activities, activities that must take place in full compliance with the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of privacy. TAOS UG, represented by its General Manager Sebastian Dietl, established in 16-20, Industriestrasse 35580 Wetzlar (Germany), as data to the processing of personal data, provides the following information.

Nature of the data, the purposes and treatment:

The owner collects and processes personal data voluntarily provided by the user during the purchase of goods and services through the platform of e-commerce site, sending newsletters, request for quotes and/or information. The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the communication protocols of the Internet. This information is not collected to be associated to identified individuals, but by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful , error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment.
